#179 European Greenfinch |
This year I am blogging a photographic year-list, a VERY casual list, no targets, no goals, just for fun.

#179 in Kealba, Victoria, Australia, October 29 2018
I often hear greenfinch around home. They sit on the power lines and make their harsh calls. Usually they fly away as soon as you aim a camera at them. This one was a slight exception to that rule. It sat for about half a second before it took off. At least I got a crappy photo!

#172 at Woodlands Historic Park, Victoria, Austraia, October 3 2018
I almost always see Eastern Rosella at Woodlands Historic Park, a place that I often visit. Getting a decent photo of an Eastern Rosella, however, can be somewhat difficult. This one, like so many others that I have taken, is well below par, but it's the first for the year, and I've included it in this year blog thingy whatsit.
