I enjoyed doing this VERY casual year. I posted images of my 'best' shots for 2018 here: http://andrewallenphotography.blogspot.com/2018/12/bird-photos-from-2018.html
I missed photographing some very common species, mostly through lack of even trying. But that was what I intended, so I'm not worried at all.
I was thinking of only blogging 'five star' photos for 2019, with an overall goal of 100 species. So far I have none, again from lack of effort, but also because there are just too many gorgeous insects about for me to find and photograph that the birds have taken a bit of a back seat for now....
This year I am blogging a photographic year-list, a VERY casual list, no targets, no goals, just for fun.
